Upon your arrival, at the port of entry for 18 days safari, you will be met by our company representative who will transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay. Next morning, after breakfast, the Mt Kilimanjaro trekking adventure will begin. In the next six following days, you will trek and attempt to conquer the mighty 'Uhuru Peak' of Mt Kilimanjaro. The magnificent ice glaciers of Kilimanjaro which are about three degrees south of equator at about 5895m above the sea level are one of the most attractive features of this roof of Africa. The following national parks will be party of your safari adventure in Africa. Lake Manyara national park is perfectly set on back drop of the Great Rift valley, which is one of the most interesting feature in the area influencing the Africa great Lakes and highest Mountain. Serengeti national park derive it's named from masai language 'Siringeti' meaning 'Endless Plain". Serengeti, has the biggest and fascinating annual migration of wild animal in the world. Ngorongoro crater was once a highest mountain in the area surpassing the mighty Kilimanjaro. It's inactive volcano collapse creating unbroken crater 610m deep covering 260 sq km. Today Ngorongoro crater is home to African big five and many other species including the endangered black Rhino. Having experienced a lifetime adventure of conquering the continent highest peak and touring the most famous parks in the world you will be taken to Zanzibar (Spice Island) where you will experience four days of relaxation and leisure activities by the beautiful white sand beaches of Zanzibar archipelago.

Itinerary 18KPZ:

Day 01: Arriving in Tanzania
Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be met by the company representatives who will transfer you to the hotel in Arusha or Moshi (depending on Safari or Mountain trekking starting point) for overnight stay.

Day 02: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
On the first day of Kilimanjaro trekking, after breakfast, drive to Machame gate (1800 m) for registration and briefing. After registration formality, the ascending begins by trekking through tropical forest to Machame camp(3100 m) with lunch break at a rest point. Upon arrival at machame camp, dinner will be served and overnight stay.
Distance: 18km; Time: 5-6 hours; Vegetation: Montane forest

Day 03: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
On the second day, after breakfast, ascending continues from Machame camp(3100 m) to Shira camp(3800 m) with lunch break at a rest point. Upon reaching Shira camp, dinner will be served and overnight stay.
Distance: 9km; Time: 4-6 hours; Vegetation: Moorland

Day 04: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
On the third day, after breakfast, ascending continues from Shira camp (3800 m) to Barranco camp (3840 m) with lunch break at a resting point. During the ascending, you will ascend up to (4620 m) before descending to Barranco camp (3840 m) as part of acclimatization preparation for summit attempt. Upon reaching the base camp, Barranco, dinner is served and overnight stay.
Distance: 15km; Time: 6-7 hours; Vegetation: Semi desert

Day 05: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
On the fourth day, after breakfast, you will continue to ascend Kilimanjaro from Barranco camp (3840 m) to Barafu camp (4900 m) with lunch break at the rest point. Upon arrival at Barafu camp, dinner will be served and overnight stay.
Distance: 13km; Time: 7-8 hours; Vegetation: Alpine desert

Day 06: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Hut
On the fifth day, after breakfast, you will attempt to conquer the summit. At midnight, depart the base camp ascend toward Stella point (5685 m) where you will have a short rest to see the magnificent sun-raise. After the rest, you will continue to ascend for another one hour before reaching the summit Uhuru Peak (5895 m). From the summit, you will descend all the way to Mweka camp(3100 m) with a lunch break at Barafu camp. Upon reaching Mweka camp, dinner will be served and overnight stay.
Distance: 7km ascent, 23km descent; Time: 6-8 hours ascent, 7-8 hours descent; Vegetation: Ice cap

Day 07: Mweka Camp to Moshi
On the sixth and last day, after breakfast, you will continue to descend all the way to Mweka gate. At the Mweka gate, Certificates will be issued before proceeding to Mweka village where a transfer vehicle will be waiting to transfer you Lodge or Hotel.
Distance: 15km; Time: 4-5 hours; Vegetation: Tropical forest

Day 08: Lake Manyara NP
On the first day of safari tour, after breakfast, you will be driven to Lake manyara for registration which will be followed by a game drive. After lunch, Manyara game Drive till evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp or lodge.

Day 09: Serengeti NP via Ngorongoro CA
On the second day of safari, after breakfast, you will be driven to Serengeti via Ngorongoro conservation area. En route, you will be able to view wild animal in their natural habitat and a possibility of visiting Massai village as part of cultural shock. Upon completion of registration formality, you will continue with game drive till lunch time. After lunch, Serengeti game drive until evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the comp lodge.

Day 10: Serengeti NP
On the third day of safari, after breakfast, full day of game drive with a lunch break in Serengeti. After lunch, Serengeti game drive until evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp or lodge.

Day 11: Ngorongoro CA
On the four day of safari, after breakfast, you will continue with game drive in Serengeti until lunch time. After lunch, game view en route toward Ngorongoro conservation area via Oldvai gorge archeology site. Dinner and overnight stay at a camp or lodge.

Day 12: Ngorongoro CA
On the fourth and last day of safari, after breakfast, you would be driven to famous Ngorongoro crater floor for half day of game drive. After lunch, drive toward Arusha town via Mto wa mbu. In Arusha town, dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 13: Transfer to Zanzibar
On this day, after earlier morning breakfast, you would be transferred to Dar-es-salaam by Bus or Airplane and thereafter to Zanzibar by boat. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14: Zanzibar
On the second day, one could order a spice tour in Zanzibar fomous spice farms, Stone tour, Prison Island tour as well as other site seeing activities like a visit to Palace Museum, House of Wonders, Livingstone's House, Former slave market and Sultans Palaces like Maruhubi Palace.

Day 15: Zanzibar
On the third day, in exotic Zanzibar, one could enjoy the day by the beautifull white sand beaches of Kendwa village or Paje Village or order a full day of snorkeling or diving.

Day 16: Zanzibar
On the fouth day, one could order a tour at Kizimkazi fishing village. Among activities at the village is cultural tour at a 12th Century Mosque in Zanzibar, A tour to Miza Miza caves and an historical baobab tree which were used during the II world war as a communication center of east & central Africa or a chance to view and even swim quite close to bottle-nosed dolphins.

Day 17: Zanzibar
On this fifth day in Zanzibar, one can order a tour to Jozani forest. While in Jozania forest, you will have opportunity to observe a unique Red Colobus Monkey and take walk in Mangrove tree forest.

Day 18: Departure from Tanzania
On the last day of Zanzibar tour, you will be transferred to Stone from either Northern or Eastern coast beaches of Zanzibar and then to Dar-es-salaam for Departure.
